ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï 2021 Fall Commencement Ceremonies, Dec. 10-11
The ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï will hold its fall commencement ceremonies on Friday, Dec. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 11. Approximately 903 students will graduate this fall with around 554 earning a bachelor's degree and around 349 earning a master's, specialist or doctoral degree.

Board of Trustees Authorizes ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï to Move Forward With Exploration into Creating Osteopathic Medical School
The ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï Board of Trustees met on Thursday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Nov. 12, to discuss a variety of topics, including governance group reports, a president's report, an update on the university's Students First Framework and action items related to the pursuit of creating an osteopathic medical school.

The ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï is proud to join the fifth annual First-Generation College Celebration on Nov. 8. The event, launched in 2017 by the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) and the Center for First-generation Student Success, is designed to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of first-generation students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Dan Satriana, ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï ‘s General Counsel, Announces Retirement
Dan Satriana, vice president, general counsel and secretary to ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï’s Board of Trustees, announced today that he will be retiring this winter. Satriana has been at ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï for 11 years, serving as the university’s attorney and primary source of legal advice.

Colorado’s Free Application Day Extended to Three Days
There are a few changes to the fourth annual Colorado Free Application Day. This year, it has expanded to three days instead of just one starting on Tuesday, Oct. 19 through Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021. During that time, the ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï (ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï) is waiving application fees for undergraduate applicants submitted by Colorado residents.

Game On – Students Share ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï Experience Through Game Design Event
Moving to Greeley from Denver to study early childhood education and starting her freshman year as a first-generation student, Alex Archuleta had a lot to learn about the college experience. She has an older sibling also attending the ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï to help her adjust to the changes here and there, but a resource she relies heavily on is her advisors.

ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï Selects New Vice President for Student Affairs
ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï (ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï) has chosen Cedric Howard, Ed.D., as the university's new vice president for Student Affairs. Howard, who was selected through a national search the university launched last May, will start his position on Dec. 6, 2021.
