The Liberal Arts Curriculum (LAC) provides all undergraduate students with grounding in the liberal arts that is infused with critical and creative inquiry. It also satisfies the six general education areas that all public higher education institutions in the state of Colorado are required to include in their undergraduate degree programs.
Written Communication – 6 credits
Mathematics – 3 credits
Arts & Humanities – 6 credits (some courses may also meet the U.S. Multicultural and International Studies requirement)
History – 3 credits (some courses may also meet the U.S. Multicultural and International Studies requirement)
Social & Behavioral Sciences – 3 credits (some courses may also meet the U.S. Multicultural and International Studies requirement)
Additional Arts & Humanities, History, or Social and Behavioral Sciences – 3 credits (some courses may also meet the U.S. Multicultural and International Studies requirement)
Natural & Physical Sciences – 7 credits (minimum one course with lab)
In keeping with ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï’s commitment to the values of inclusion, equity, and diversity, all ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï students are required to choose at least one course with a U.S. Multicultural Studies [MS] designation, and at least one course with an International Studies [IS] designation.
