As we prepare for the Spring 2026 semester, the Affordable & Open Educational Resources (OER) Committee encourages faculty and instructors to report all course materials to the ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï Bookstore — including traditional textbooks, open educational resources and free online materials. 

Timely reporting helps students plan and budget for materials before they register for Spring classes and ensures that ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï remains in compliance with federal and state transparency requirements. 

Even if your course uses no-cost or open resources, please still submit them. Doing so allows the ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï Bookstore to label your course as “no-cost,” helping students make informed choices and supporting ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï’s textbook affordability initiatives. 

Faculty interested in exploring or expanding the use of zero-cost resources, like OER, can find support through the Affordable and Open Educational Resources Committee and University Libraries.
