Giving Back: Scholarship Supports Student-Athletes and Leaders
As Mark and Tammy Berven reflected on their experiences at ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï, they decided to establish the Berven Athletic Leadership Scholarship, which supports one football student-athlete and one female student-athlete who are in their third or fourth seasons and who are active leaders on the Student-Athlete Advisory Council.

After a national search launched earlier this year, the ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï Foundation has selected Tony Troxell as its next president. Troxell, who officially stepped into his role on Sept. 16, will be responsible for the overall management of Foundation activities including gift acceptance, distribution of gifts to the university, and investment management.

New Chemistry Professor Sharing the Science of Solving Real World Problems
The lure of exploring endless possibilities and the challenge of solving puzzles is what drew Bonnie Buss to the field of chemistry. Fall reports indicate 25.5% of ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï's undergraduate students identify as Hispanic or Latinx; just over the 25% threshold required to apply for the federal HSI designation.
