In the case of campus emergencies, this page will be updated with community information as soon as it is available, usually within 15 to 20 minutes of the first text message alert. All official alerts shared on social media will also be on this page.

How to Sign Up for Emergency Alerts

Campus Community Members
Emergency messages are delivered to ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï computer desktops, through text messages to personal cell phones and via email to ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï email addresses.
When you first enroll in classes or are hired by the university, your ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï email address is automatically registered in the alert system.
To receive text message notifications, simply fill out the ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï Emergency Alert card in your . Once your mobile number is added and saved, you’ll begin receiving emergency alerts via text.
Make sure you are also signed up to receive ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï Emergency Alerts through the Rave Guardian App to provide an extra layer of security for yourself and others. Staying connected through multiple channels helps ensure you receive critical information quickly, keeping you and our campus community safe. Campus Visitors, Parents, and Friends
Campus visitors and families of ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï students are welcome, and encouraged, to sign up for emergency alerts. ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï uses Rave Mobile Alerts to quickly share important updates about emergencies, severe weather, and other events that may impact campus operations.
Anyone can sign up for temporary alerts by texting ÿÈÕ´ó¹ÏALERT to 226787. This will subscribe you to ÿÈÕ´ó¹Ï Emergency Alerts for 30 days. Before your subscription ends, you’ll receive a reminder text. To continue receiving alerts, simply reply with ÿÈÕ´ó¹ÏALERT again to renew your subscription instantly.
